Bi-Annual Book Sale, June 13th-16th

Our Bi-Annual Book Sale is fast approaching! 

Members' Night is Wednesday, June 13th, 5pm-7:30pm. 

Memberships can be purchased at the door, and individual memberships start at just $10! 

The sale is open to the public on:

Thursday, June 14th, 9am-7pm

Saturday, June 16th, 9am-12pm

On Saturday, buy a Friends book bag, and fill it for free!

Just a quick reminder that we gratefully accept donations of gently used books, CDs, DVDs and books on CDs at any time during the year.  These donations are put up for sale at our bi-annual book sales, where all profits go to benefit our library and its services.  Donations can be brought into the library any day the library is open… just take them to the main circulation desk!  It’s a wonderful way to support the library; and do some “spring cleaning” at the same time!

Book Sale Thank-You

With the fall book sale officially over, I wanted to give a huge shout-out to all the volunteers who made the sale not only possible, but very profitable!

Our totals for the sale were:  memberships renewed during book sale – $610 and

books sold – $2288.25!!!!  That is a huge increase from last years fall book sale!

It took many hours and over 34 volunteers to help set up, run, and break down the book sale.  Every one of those volunteers was INVALUABLE towards making the Friends book sale a success.  Thank you, Friends, your time was truly appreciated!  It is wonderful to live in a community where so many people are willing to give of their time to help support their library!

Finally, a big thank you goes out specifically to Patt Walker, who stepped up to co-chair this event, and saw that the sale ran smoothly.  Thanks, Patt!!!
