A huge thank you goes to Terri Teleen, Wendi Lewis, and Jen Jackman for stepping up to co-chair the event, and making it such a fabulous experience for the children!
Thank you to Miss Paulina from the Children's Room for reading to the kids. Your storytime is always a favorite part of the tea!
Thank you to our volunteers who helped with baked goods, set up, serving, and clean up. Without you, the tea would not be possible!
Thank you to Ron Jillians, Seacoast Florist, Dunkin Donuts, Shaws, Hannaford, Market Basket, Olivia's Organics, and Experience Hampton for their generous donations. Their support of the Friends allows us to host great events like this, and exemplifies the community spirit that makes Hampton such a great town to live in!
Valentine Tea sign-ups start tomorrow!

Registration will begin Monday, January 31 at 9am (that's tomorrow!) for the seventh annual Valentine Tea, hosted by the Friends of the Lane Memorial Library.
Open to Hampton residents ages 3-8 and a grown-up of their choice, the event will take place on Saturday, February 12, in the Lane Room. There is no charge to attend. There will be two seatings: 10:30am-12pm and 1:30pm-3pm.
Seating is limited to 20 children per session so don't forget to sign up because spots fill quickly!
If you interested in baking for the Tea or volunteering to help that day, please contact Teresa Teleen at terri_teleen@comcast.net or 926-3313.

Hi Friends,
Thanks to all who've responded to our request for help with the Valentine Tea. We have 3 Friends who've stepped forward to lead the tea. Thanks to them, the tea is confirmed for Saturday, February 12th!

Need Valentine Tea Chair!
Jan
Hi Friends,
We need your help. We are in desperate need of a chairperson for our annual Valentine Tea. It's tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 12th. Unless we can find a chairperson soon, we will not be able to host the Valentine Tea this year. The Valentine Tea is an event that's easy to manage – we have a book that tells you exactly what needs to be done. Our past chairpersons are committed to other Friends projects this year, so we need a new person to take ownership of this event.
If you can help, please contact me as soon as possible. We do not want to cancel this very popular event, but there's only so much we can do without more helping hands.
Best Regards,
Sue Hughes
